Traversing Yogini
Three cups Ashtanga yoga. One tablespoon dance. With a sprinkle of mountain adventures. *This is a secondary blog*
One day it will happen…

Ashtanga tends to attract type A personalities.  I am a type A personality.  I like Ashtanga because I know what’s coming next, I know that each day I practice I can see change and growth, and I like that I can explore poses.  I am working on standing up and falling back in backward bow pose.  It has acrobatic flair, it is hard as heck, and I just can’t get it fast enough.  After a led class this week we were breaking the pose down and I was making frustrated noises and rolling my eyes.  From the corner of the room I heard a fellow yogi say, “I’m not worried about it.  One day it will happen.”  That shut me up.  One day it will happen…one day.
